Tony Randall Instructs Johnny Carson on Storytelling
I have the biggest crush on Tony Randall.... Ahem. Here Mr. Randall visits the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in May 1985. He tries to teach Carson how to tell a story after the host's joke bombs.
Boy I miss Johnny Carson and his great show. I also miss the sophisticated, hilarious humor that wasn't peppered with constant 4-letter (or worse) words. Comedians now, at least the majority, don't have that kind of wit, and depend on the F bomb too much. These guys really knew their business. Thanks for the wonderful clip, Java!
